Na program MIRCIM 2026 składa się 11 sesji klinicznych z udziałem ponad 60 światowej klasy ekspertów, w tym autorów międzynarodowych wytycznych. Konferencja przybliża aktualną wiedzę medyczną opartą na wiarygodnych danych naukowych, która ma bezpośrednie przełożenie na codzienną praktykę lekarską. Wydarzenie jest również wartościową propozycją dla specjalistów z węższych dziedzin interny: w programie
przewidziano m.in. cztery rozbudowane sesje poświęcone kardiologii, reumatologii, nefrologii oraz diabetologii.
Równolegle z MIRCIM odbędzie się AIMed (Artificial Intelligence in Medicine) 2026 – trzydniowa konferencja poświęcona różnym aspektom wykorzystania sztucznej inteligencji (AI) w ochronie zdrowia, organizowana we współpracy z ekspertami w tej dziedzinie z Big Data Institute Uniwersytetu Oksfordzkiego, McMaster University w Kanadzie oraz Uniwersytetem Jagiellońskim – Collegium Medicum. Wydarzenie jest skierowane do szerokiego grona osób zajmujących się AI: zarówno twórców narzędzi, jak również ich użytkowników, reprezentujących środowiska lekarskie, naukowe i technologiczne. Na konferencji wystąpią też decydenci odpowiedzialni za aspekty regulacyjne i etyczne, m.in. w Unii Europejskiej.
Drugim wydarzeniem równoległym do MIRCIM będzie finał międzynarodowego konkursu Young Talents in Internal Medicine World Contest. Już po raz ósmy młodzi interniści z całego świata zaprezentują najciekawsze opisy przypadków klinicznych. Konkurs wpisuje się w metodykę nauczania problemowego (PBL) i wspiera rozwój praktycznych umiejętności diagnostycznych i leczniczych.
Nowością edycji 2026 jest otwarty nabór abstraktów (MIRCIM open call for abstracts) obejmujący prace oryginalne, metaanalizy oraz serie przypadków. Autorzy przyjętych zgłoszeń zaprezentują je podczas konferencji w formie plakatów. Prace ukażą się też w księdze abstraktów.
Organizatorami MIRCIM są Polski Instytut Evidence Based Medicine oraz kanadyjska uczelnia McMaster University we współpracy z Uniwersytetem Jagiellońskim – Collegium Medicum. Organized in collaboration with the University of Oxford’s Big Data Institute and the Interdisciplinary Health Data Center of the Jagiellonian University Medical College, the
